Foto Fun ( Instant Picture Share) Gallery Application is designed keeping in view the mobile subscribers, who can share pictures instantaneously by simply clicking and uploading pictures from their mobile phones. The photo share gallery provides means to publish a collection of digital photos in an organized fashion. Using Picture Sharing , Application a user can share the pictures on his mobile phone with his buddies and has the option to restrict access to the pictures by authorizing the buddies to view the pictures shared by him.

These pictures are accessible through web also, providing a wider base for the mobile user to share instant pictures.

Mobile users can login to the service through their mobile using username password and can click and upload pictures. Users can define access rights to their pictures by providing restricted, public or private categorization to the pictures uploaded by them.

Users can also manage who can view their pictures in restricted folder at any time using buddy authorization. All this can be done through the mobile interface itself hence making it easy to manage and share.

The application provides a community base of users which the operator can capitalize on by promoting other related services. Picture sharing can also be linked to existing portal or some contest like- best picture of the day/week/month etc. which in turn promotes the use of mobile data services.

 

 

Key features and Functionality

  • Add Contacts to the buddy list: The registered users of Picture Sharing service can be added to the buddy list.
  • Click and Upload a picture: The picture clicked by the camera can be saved locally or can be uploaded depending on the user’s choice in various folders:
    • Public
    • Private
    • Restricted
  • View Picture gallery: The User can view his own picture gallery in the My Picture folder.
  • View Buddy pictures: The user can also view the pictures of any of the buddies in the Buddy List.
  • Authorization: The Authorization option facilitates the user to authorize or allow buddies to view picture shared by the user. Buddies who are authorized can view the pictures uploaded in restricted folder.
  • Delete Contact: This option facilitates to delete the contacts present in the buddy list after confirming the deletion.
