What is Mobile Portal: Mobile Portal is an easy to use client application, installable over the air. This may well become the last SMS/WAP Push/Advertisement you send to the customer.
Once installed, this portal can be used for advertisements (also banners etc.), promotion of content and services, driving content download through package offers.
Client: The Mobile Portal client is available in j2me, Symbian, BREW (for CDMA only) – covering a wide technology and device base. The Mobile Portal application also shares the device capabilities with the server so as to get best suited content.
Mobile Portal Services: Using Mobile Portal, various services can be provided e.g.:

- Cricket
- News
- Stock Market
- Shopping Information
- Content & m-Commerce Services
- Content (wallpaper, ringtones, ringback tones etc.)
- Electronic bill presentation and related services
- eStore for ordering various content and services
- Auctions etc.
Selection of services desired by the subscriber. This creates a personalized client interface on the device which caters to the desired services. User can select from list view or grid view as per preference which will change the look and feel of the application. Menu will be accessible in the format of choice as shown in the images.
User can at any time goto the help menu to get assistance. Easy to use menu with minimum clicks allows easy access to content all the time. The client can be manually refreshed to bypass the set refresh time for the content.
The client comes with a choice of skins and look and feel to suite an individual’s requirements. ORG will provide client for j2me, Symbian, Flash Lite and BREW (for CDMA). The coverage of devices will range from high end phones to the low end java phones covering a wide range of device profiles in the network.
